The Big Red stand is the heaviest portable sign
stand available. It offers maximum
stability and is ideal for intersections, crosswalks or entrances
where a permanent sign post is not practical.
The heavy-duty 24-inch
diameter molded base stands 8 inches tall. It is light-weight for (UPS)
shipping yet can hold up to 75 pounds of sand or pea gravel. It comes
with a 14 gauge galvanized steel telescoping 1 3/4-inch diameter post
that adjusts display height from 5 to 8 feet. An extra-large knob
tightening screw securely locks the post at
the desired height.
Slip-on, adjustable sign mounting brackets (one pair included) allow
for easy, secure sign
attachment. The
optional slip-on wheel bracket, built with heavy-gauge steel flat-strap
and 2-inch wheels, permits easy tilt and roll portability, and bolts
securely to the base.
